My name is Craig Francis and I own an SBA and Commercial loan brokerage called Francis Financial.  I have been in the lending and brokering community of SBA in San Diego and Southern California since January 1981.  My work career started with the Certified Development Corp of San Diego  (l981 to 1987)and Bank of Commerce for 5 years (1988 to l992)   I left the bank in 1992 to start my loan brokerage specializing in SBA financing for local business.

My business brochure web site is www.mysbaloan.com.  My email handle is  francissba@aol.com.  A new site I developed to assist business owners is www.sbaloanstore.com.

For nearly 30 years I have been an unabashed advocate of the SBA and entrepreneurship.  Evolving this love of business into owning my own firm, Francis Financial,  I have been involved in assisting business owners with their financing needs, primarily in the SBA lending arena.

Some might call me an expert in this field of financing, credit, lending and brokering but I see myself as a well informed student, constantly learning new things about business, the SBA, the banking arena and entrepreneurs. If you are suffering the effects of this economic 'rough patch'  I assure you it will end, as they all do. I have been through 5 of them since I started in my career with Dun and Bradstreet in 1975.  Remember Stagflation, WIN Buttons and prime at 21 %.  Now those were the days.

You are welcome to call  me the new kid on the block when it comes to blogs but  I am no newcomer to the advisory system so well established by SBA and SCORE along with my personal experience in business and lending.

I am a regular speaker with the SCORE chapter in San Diego and enjoy a close relationship with the many lenders and SBA officials in this area.

If you have questions about SBA, loans, credit cultures and the current situation in lending today I welcome an email  You can reach me at francissba@aol.  I welcome your comments, inquiries and questions. If I can shed a little light on the present credit and loan situation, some ideas on how to push through it and thrive when the good times come back, I would appreciate hearing from you.  Thank you for having me as part of this community.
