Access Essential Tools for Your Small Business Today

by Moderator on 08-19-2009 09:32 AM

Whether you’re searching for licenses, loans, or tips from notable industry professionals, we hope that you’ve had a chance to use the tools and resources available here on Business.gov.  We’ve recently updated one of our tools to make it even easier for small businesses owners to find the information they need to successfully start and manage their businesses.

You can access all of our free tools through the handy Business.gov "gadget."  A gadget is a simple HTML or Javascript application that you can embed in web pages or other applications by cutting and pasting a short block of code.

We created the Business.gov "gadget" several months ago and recently updated it to include the latest Business.gov features.  Now, you can use our new gadget to:

  • Quickly search our database of federal, state, & local websites
  • Find licenses & permits for your business
  • View the most recently discussed threads in the Business.gov community
  • NEW! Find loans & grants for your business
  • NEW! Read the most recently posted blogs on Business.gov, including articles from small business insiders
  • NEW! Watch videos from the Business.gov YouTube channel.

For immediate access to essential online tools, you can add the gadget to your iGoogle page by clicking here,* or to any webpage, by clicking here,*

In the future, we will be adding additional customization so anyone can create their own gadgets fitted with the Business.gov tools and information they use most.  Stay tuned to our gadget page and the In the Loop blog for updates.  As always, we welcome your feedback and ideas!
